Preserving the heritage of railroading in Western Pennsylvania

Are you interested in preserving the rich history of railroading in and around the Beaver Valley and Lawrence County areas of Western Pennsylvania? If so, we hope you will consider joining the Beaver-Lawrence Railway Historical Society.

Our society is comprised of men and women from all walks of life including, of course, some retired railroaders. Members have numerous opportunities to work on one or more of our restoration projects – the West Pittsburg station, N5c cabin car, Brookville rail car, baggage carts, signals, and more. Do you like to cut grass? It seems like ours always needs cut. If you just want to relax and watch trains, the station is a great place to do it.

You do not have to live Western Pennsylvania to join our society. Some members live in Ohio, Virginia, and California. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to apply for membership.

Dues are $30 per calendar year for an individual membership and $5 per calendar year for each additional family member. Those who join after June 1 of any year shall pay 1/2 of the annual dues for the balance of the year. Those who join after September 1 of any year shall pay full annual dues which will cover dues for the next year.
